Freeman Homes enjoys record start to the year

Freeman Homes is celebrating two record months, despite the hesitant trend in the national market.  The company achieved its highest ever number of reservations in January, and its highest number of completions in February.

The company currently has three active developments, including the prestigious Westcombe Place in Northleach, Oaklands Holt in Weobley and Ariconium Place in Weston-under-Penyard.  It is also due to commence works on Severnbank at Newnham on Severn in the spring.

Freeman Homes has a heritage of specialising in smaller developments in desirable village locations, providing high-quality, contemporary homes which complement the area’s existing architecture.  The exteriors of its Westcombe Place development in Northleach feature the renowned Cotswold aesthetic, while the Weston-under-Penyard homes are designed to mirror the traditional Herefordshire style.  The company has a reputation for blending style and practicality, developing aspirational homes that provide plenty of space, natural lighting and an abundance of built-in storage.

Luke Freeman, Joint CEO of parent company MF Freeman Group, commented: “Despite the slowdown in the wider market at the moment, with the post-Christmas lull exacerbated by the continued political uncertainty, we enjoyed our highest number of property reservations in January since the division began in 1999. February set a new record for us too, with the most completions we’ve ever seen in that month.

All of our developments are receiving a lot of interest, and we have numerous visitors every week at Oaklands Holt and Westcombe Place, where we have show homes open to the public.  We are a family-owned business, so it’s very pleasing to hear visitors comment on the quality of the finishes on our homes and the considerate and practical designs.  Listening to feedback is one of the ways we ensure that we continuously improve, which has led to the excellent reputation we now enjoy.”

These two record months have set the tone for a busy 2019 for the company.  With Severnbank, the company’s new development at Newnham on Severn, set to start in the spring and the show home due to open at Ariconium Place in April, Freeman Homes is enjoying an active start to the year.  Luke added, “We are always looking for the next location to build.  We have a number of potential development sites in the pipeline and our team are working hard to progress our planning applications.  It’s great to be in such a strong position at the start of the year.”
