We understand that there are times when moving now is important to maintain health and wellbeing – with our Move
now, Pay later scheme you can move into your new home almost immediately, and pay for it when your own home sells. The other benefit of our Move now, Pay later scheme is that it provides the opportunity to achieve best price for your existing home by enabling home improvements after you have moved out to make your home as saleable as possible, such as:

  • Declutter and depersonalise your home by removing personal belongings to make it easier for potential purchasers to
    visualise themselves living there.
  • Redecorate your home in neutral colours.
  • Modernise the kitchen and bathrooms

HOW DOES MOVE NOW, PAY LATER WORK?

  1. Select your new Freeman Home
  2. Sign an assured shorthold tenancy (AST) and move into your new home rent-free*
  3. Complete any works to your existing home within the agreed timescales
  4. Your agents market your existing house on commencement of the AST
  5. Within 7 days of completion of your existing home, you complete on your new Freeman Home and the tenancy ends

Terms and Conditions:
* Rent free period is 3 months. From month three to month six 50% rent is payment monthly in advance. From month 6 full rent is payable. Full rent is 6% of the purchase price and subject to rent reviews as per the tenancy agreement. The occupier is responsible for all utility bills and council tax from the date of occupation. Available on selected plots.
